Q&A's

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first.

We’d love to have everyone there, but since it’s a bush wedding, we’re limited on space. Please check your invite for your +1.

Unfortunately, not. Only cash will be accepted at the Lodge, so please make sure you head to the ATM before you arrive.
April is a gorgeous time of the year for trip to the bush! It brings mild autumn weather, with warm days averaging 25–28°C and cooler nights around 10–15°C. A light jacket or jumper is ideal for the evenings.
If you arrive after 5:00 PM, no worries! You can head straight to your unit or room—your door will be unlocked, and the key will be waiting for you there. Just check the map on the wall at Reception and it’ll guide you right to your unit.
When it’s time to say goodbye, just leave your key in the door of your unit—easy peasy! 🗝️ No need to swing by Reception unless you’ve got any accounts to settle.
No. There is free parking at the lodge.
Our wedding ceremony will take place in the heart of the bush, surrounded by the wild beauty of nature. Afterward, we’ll head to a boma for our reception under the stars.

Sort of… but you’re in the bush now, so maybe don’t count on having 5G. There’s limited reception, but if you really need to make a call, head over to the Reception area, where a cellphone booster is located.

Nope. No WiFi here—welcome to the bush! 🌿 It’s the perfect excuse to unplug, soak up the beauty of nature, and enjoy some good old-fashioned human connection (you know, like we used to).

Think bush chic! 🌿 Opt for lightweight, breathable fabrics like linen or cotton to keep cool in the warm weather. For the evening, when temperatures drop slightly, a light jacket might come in handy.

Ladies, flowy dresses or tops paired with comfy shoes like wedges or sandals are the way to go—stilettos are not meant to be worn in the bush 😉

Gents, a smart shirt with chinos or tailored shorts and closed shoes will have you looking sharp. And for our international friends, you might want to Google “vellies” for a little taste of South African style!

Absolutely—we’d love for you to capture all the fun and memories! However, during the ceremony, we kindly ask that you put your phones and cameras away and soak up the moment with us. Feel free to take photos at the reception though!
It sure is!
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own alcohol, as the Lodge is mainly self-catered. 🍻

However, during the Wedding Reception, we’ll have a fully stocked licensed bar ready to serve up some drinks! 🍸

To keep things smooth and festive, please refrain from bringing your own alcohol to the reception or until midnight. After that, the party’s yours! 🎉
No. The Lodge is all about self-catering, so apart from the Wedding Reception meal and breakfast, all your other meals will be up to you. Please make sure to stock up before you arrive.
Towels and linen are provided in all units/rooms, however please make sure to bring your own swimming towels as these will not be provided.
Unfortunately, all guests will need to bring their own as they are not provided by the Lodge.
